■Y/N's POV■

The shadow of birds flying outside of my window, plastered on the wall in front of me as I'm looking at the mirror.

I tied my hair and added a light-colored lipstick on my lips before checking my appearance. I pick up my bag and hang it on my shoulder as I walk down.

Y/N: mom, I'm heading out...

I walk to the meeting point and after 20 minutes, I finally saw my companions.

Tamahiko: Y/N nee chan!

Tamahiko kun runs my way and I crouch down to greet him. Behind him Kazuhiko following.

Kazuhiko: Tama, I told you not to run around, you'll bump onto someone or fall...

Kazuhiko lightly scolds Tamahiko kun before averting his gaze at me.

Kazuhiko: good morning, Y/N... thank you for joining us today... this one right here been wanting to play with you...

Kazuhiko ruffles Tamahiko's hair. The younger boy looks up at his brother and pout.

Tamahiko: but you're the one who's excited to meet Y- hmph

Kazuhiko hurriedly covers Tamahiko's mouth and pick him up. There's a slight blush on his cheeks. Kazuhiko really tries his best not to make me feel uncomfortable, and this always makes me feel warm.

Kazuhiko: h-he means he's excited to hang out with you... um come on Y/N

Y/N: yes, let's go

I walk and watch as Kazuhiko holds Tamahiko in his arms, it brings smile to my face. I do enjoy hanging out with this two after all.

We're heading to the amusement park because today there's a godzilla themed event. Kazuhiko really cares about Tamahiko that he prepares the ticket for all of us to play when the event is being held.

Tamahiko: Godzillaaaa!! Raaaawr

Tamahiko runs to a guy who give free Godzilla balloon. He looks so cute and happy as he receives the balloon.

Kazuhiko: that little guy... oi Tama, do stray too far... come here...

Y/N: he's so excited... hihi... it's fun to play in the amusement park...

Kazuhiko: yes, you're right...

I look up at Kazuhiko as he stares at me, his eyes look so gentle as he looks at me.

Kazuhiko: it's even more fun because you're here with us, Y/N...

There, Kazuhiko tends to show his feelings whenever he can but not in a way that will make me feel uncomfortable . I can feel his feelings for me, and the more I see it the more I can feel how sincere he is.

Kazuhiko: sorry, I'm being forward huh? let's just have fun, Y/N...

Kazuhiko might think that I feel uncomfortable because I was quiet for a sec. Though he is smiling I can feel that he's a bit dejected.

I don't want Kazuhiko san to feel bad for doing nothing wrong.

I walk closer to the two brother as Kazuhiko is holding Tamahiko's right hand. I walk to Tamahiko's left side and hold his left hand so now we both are holding hands with Tamahiko.

Y/N: yes... let's have fun Kazuhiko

Kazuhiko's eyes widened a bit but then he smiles and nod, and we start going to every ride.

I want Kazuhiko to know that he' never makes me uncomfortable...

We tried every ride that allows Tamahiko to join us. We bought ice cream and watch a Godzilla play. Today is fun and looking at how happy Tamahiko is, makes it even better.

We were standing on the back of the crowd as the seats are full. Kazuhiko puts Tamahiko on his shoulder so he can watch the Godzilla play with ease.

As I stand next to Kazuhiko, someone walk through the crowds in a hurry and bumped onto me so I stumble backwards. Strong hand gently supports my back so I don't fall and I look up to see Kazuhiko's worried face.

Kazuhiko: are you okay!?

He gently pushes me to stand a bit forward from where he stands. It feels like he's guarding me and I feel safe knowing that he looks after me.

Y/N: thank you... Kazuhiko

Kazuhiko: no problem

After that Kazuhiko turns his gaze back at the play in front of us. He jokes around with Tamahiko interactively following the actors in front of us. Seeing how he really did his best for his brother, makes me even more conscious of how kind he is.

I didn't realize that I was staring at him until he looks back at me.

Kazuhiko: what is it? Are you tired?

I can't help but be flustered and shook my head no.

Y/N: no it-it's uh Tamahiko just look so happy.... I'm glad

Kazuhiko beams a smile and looks up at his brother who's enjoying the show from his shoulder.

Kazuhiko: he sure is..

It's four p,m right now, and we promissed Kazuhiko and Tamahiko's parents that we will bring Tamahiko back before dark. As we walk to the station, Tamahiko start rubbing his eyes.

Y/N: Tamahiko, are you sleepy?

the boy shooks his head no, but it's clear that he's tired. Kazuhiko crouch down and scoop Tamahiko in his arms.

Kazuhiko: don't lie, a good kid should be honest when they are tired okay?

Tamahiko: ung... Okay... I'm sleepy, but then If I sleep my time with Y/N nee chan will be short...

Y/N: it's okay we can hang out again, right? sleep for now...

Not long after Tamahiko doze off on his brother's shoulder. The train is not too packed so we can sit comfortably. Kazuhiko and I talk about a lot of things, Tamahiko, school, college, and random things.

Just before we reach our stop, Kazuhiko asked me something that surprises me.

Kazuhiko: Y/N... wanna continue hanging out at our place?

I look up at Kazuhiko who stares out of the window across us, before turning his head to see me.

Kazuhiko: Tama seems to want to spend more time with you... and... so am I...

Our eyes met as he said that to me. My heart skips a beat as I became more conscious of him.

Kazuhiko: Y/N... I... I'm sorry... though I said I won't pester you... I can't help but wanting to tell you that I love you...

His voice is very low and it's almost like a breath, but I can hear it clearly. My heart is beating faster as his words enter my ears. We eventually reach our stop.

Kazuhiko: sorry for saying it like that...

We both walk out of the train and climbs the exit. Kazuhiko has been nothing but kind to me, added Tamahiko to the picture these two always brings me joy.

He makes me happy by hanging out with me... and I... haven't thought of a single thing about Takao since I met Kazuhiko and Tamahiko today...

Y/N: Kazuhiko...

Kazuhiko stops walking and looks at me. I look at the guy in front of me, who gave me comforts and treats me kindly, I can't hide the feelings that resurfaced inside of me.

Y/N: I... can I really come to your place...

I just know that....

I want to make him happy too...

3rd Person POV

Kazuhiko stares at the top of Y/N's head as the girl can't lift her head to see him as she said she accept his invitation. His eyes widened and excitement could be seen.

Kazuhiko: YES!

He said that a bit loud that Tamahiko startled by it and woke up.

Tamahiko: what is it nii...

Kazuhiko: a- Ah sorry Tama... it's uh just, Y/N will come and play at our house...

Tamahiko : whoaaa reallyyyy! I like it... maybe we can eat dinner twogether??

Y/N watches the Ozawa siblings being excited for her mere visit, and she's happy and feel welcomed. She nods and them the three walks to Ozawa's residence.

Kazuhiko opens the door and puts Tamahiko down. The younger Ozawa runs inside to get something.

Kazuhiko: welcome Y/N, please come in...

Y/N: ah, thank you.... Sorry for interrupting

The sound of Tamahiko running can be heard, the boy shows up with a pair of slippers in his hands.

Tamahiko: Y/N nee nee, wear this!

Y/N: oh my... thank you Tamahiko, ah your parents?

Kazuhiko: ah mom and dad still at the store... they'll be back later

Kazuhiko pats Tamahiko's head telling him he did well. The three head for the family room and sit together.

They play games, and watch TV until the sky turns darker. It's already passed dinner time as the time showing 08.40.

Kazuhiko: sorry, we're having too much fun that I forgot to serve you food, I'll go make dinner.

Y/N: ah no it's alright... um let me help...

Tamahiko: Tama toooo!

The three head to the kitchen and start making simple dinner. As they are cooking the front door opens. Tamahiko who hears it runs to the entrance.

Tamahiko: mamaaa papa, Y/N's here!

Tamahiko pulls his mom to the kitchen.

Mrs. Ozawa: Y/N?

At the sight of Mr. and Mrs. Ozawa, Y/N stops what she's doing at the moment and so does Kazuhiko.

Y/N: ah, good evening sorry for interrupting....

Mrs. Ozawa: oh my, I didn't know that Kazu has a cute girlfriend, so this is the Y/N my sons always talked about?

Y/N's face turns red the moment Kazuhiko's mother say that. Kazuhiko is no different and becomes flustered.

Kazuhiko: M-Mom, it's not that, she's L/N Y/N.... She's... not my girlfriend...

Tamahiko: but Nii Nii loves Y/N nee

Kazuhiko: TAMA YOU LITTLE-

Mr. Ozawa tries to separate his wrestling sons and Mrs. Ozawa walks to Y/N.

Mrs. Ozawa: oh my... so my son is still pursuing huh? Well seems like you're a girl worthy of his effort, don't give in to easy, I build my sons strong

Kazu: LETS EAAAAT

Kazuhiko is beyond flustered as everyone is teasing him, Y/N who's actually flustered as well can't help but be pleased with the atmosphere of this family.

They eat together and Y/N gets to know more about the Ozawa family. Everyone is very humble and fun to be with. After they eat Y/N wants to wash the plates so Kazuhiko helps her.

Kazuhiko: Sorry for earlier... mom... saying that... maybe because I talk about you a lot.... Please, don't be uncomfortable

Kazuhiko looks like a dejected puppy and this kind of makes Y/N's heart flutter, seeing how he always thinks about her feeling even to the things said by other. The more she spends time with him the more she can't help but realizes that Kazuhiko is very sincere.

Y/N: it's alright....

Y/N can't help it as her heart is being breached by his consent.

Y/N: thankyou for introducing me to your parents... they're all nice people...

Kazuhiko glad that Y/N likes his parents, hoping that it'll be another good point for him. He didn't know that the amount of care and consent he shows to Y/N has change her way of thinking.

Y/N has to go home and Kazuhiko will walk her home because it's late.

Y/N: thank you for having me here....

Mrs. Ozawa: please come again, having a girl after raising these two sons is nice.... I hope my son will show you more of his good side so you could hurriedly be my future daughter in law

Y/N can't help but blushed after hearing this. Seeing how a man and and his family all adore her makes her feel warm. She looks at Kazuhiko who's picking up Tamahiko who fall asleep on the couch and takes him to hos room.

Y/N can't help but think what other good side do I need to see?

Y/N: Kazuhiko...

Mrs Ozawa looks at Y/N as she said her son's name.

Y/N: I always sees his good side, that at some point I wish to see his weakness... so I can at least makes him happy the way he makes me happy

After realizing what she's saying Y/N is flustered.

Y/N: t-That I mean... um... he's a good person... so he uh don't need to show anymore good si-

Mrs. Ozawa hugs Y/N

Mrs. Ozawa: I think my son just need to give you a little more push....

Kazuhiko appears and sees Y/N being hugged by his mom, Mrs. Ozawa pushes Y/N to Kazuhiko

Mrs. Oazawa: well, be a gentleman and walk her home...

Kazuhiko: I'm planning to do so...

The two leaves the Ozawa's residence and Kazuhiko can't help but sense that Y/N looks flustered.

Kazuhiko: Y/N, you okay? Did mom says anything weird? I'm sorry if she made you uncomfortable

Y/N looks up and sees how Kazuhiko looks genuinely worried.

Kazuhiko: I... even though I really want to get you soon, I won't force you so don't think about what my mom said... I'll follow your pace... and I'll wait...

All this time, after the separation with Takao, there's no day that Y/N didn't think of her ex, even if just for a moment, Takao would cross her mind. But today, when she spends time with Kazuhiko, she didn't think about Takao at all.

Though she told Takao that she'll think about them, and will let him have another chance, that might've been changed by now.

Rather than start over, she thinks maybe a new start will be better.

Y/N: tomorrow... I'll hang out with Takao

Kazuhiko's heart flinched as he hears this. As much as he doesn't want Y/N to be closer to Takao, he doesn't wNt to prevent her from doing what she want.

Kazuhiko: I see... I hope you'll have fun... but I just want to tell you that... I know he means a lot to you and you might have many beautiful memories together...

Kazuhiko clenches his hands at the thought of something.

Kazuhiko: he might regret what he did to you before that's why he's doing his best to atone... even he has no doubt to run to you when you're in danger when I was too shocked... but

Kazuhiko looks at me, his eyes looks gentle but fierce.

Kazuhiko: I wont lose either... I will also do my best and I'll show you that I will try my best to treat you better than he can... I... will never hurt you... because... I love you.... So... sorry i got worked out because I'm nervous that you'll go to see him...

Y/N sees that Kazuhiko looks a little down. Now she realizes she doesn't want to see him sad. Hearing all that, another part of her heart was breached again.

Y/N: I will talk to him as friends.... I need to tell him about something.

Kazuhiko stares at Y/N as the girl smiles at him.

Y/N: Kazuhiko... you're amazing, you're kind and dependable... your parents adores you, and Tamahiko likes you...

Kazuhiko smiles

Kazuhiko: yeah, he's glued to me...

The day she first met Kazuhiko when he worriedly hugs his brother and not scolding him when Tamahiko was lost. The time they spend together and Y/N keeps seeing Kazuhiko's gentle side, the day Kazuhiko first confessed to her but trying not to burden her.

Everything came to her mind, and today as she spends the whole day with him, seeing his family, and everything, Y/N can't help but to open up to this person she thought.

Y/N: Your brother, he loves you because of how caring you are..... and so am I...

Y/N decided to pick a person who never hurts her...

She decided to give this chance to Kazuhiko....

Kazuhiko's POV

My mind stops working the moment I heard the words that came out of her pretty lips. Y/N looks at me a pink streak visible across her cheeks.

What... does...

Kazuhiko: w-what does that mean?

I take a step forward and she looks startled but didn't back off. She looks at me and though she looks a but shy she smiles softly.

Y/N: how you care for everyone around you.... And how you care for me... it... makes me attracted to you too...

Dub dub

Kazuhiko: so... is it... are we... can we be... together now?

I was beyond nervous, like my hearts is about to jump out off my chest.

Y/N: will you ask me out?

Kazuhiko: OF COURSE! like I mean.... Of course I will.... I Love you... I really do... so... please.... allow me to say.... Will you go out with me... please...

Did my voice waver, oh no will she thinks I'm not serious? I'm just too nervous. I look up at Y/N's face and gosh the sight is blinding. She's smiling so gently at me.

Y/N: then... I'm in your care...

My breath got stuck for a sec as I can't think straight. My body moves forward and pulls the girl in front of me, colliding our bodies together as I wrap my arms around her.

Y/N: K-Kazu Kazuhiko!

Crap

I hug her without asking....

I let go off my arms around her and apologize

Kazuhiko: I'm sorry I didn't ask for your consent.... I was just.... Too happy

These darned hands of mine, touching her like that... this insolent mind of mine

I smacked my cheeks with both hands trying to get my composure back.

Y/N: Kazuhikoo!?

Kazuhiko: I was not on my right mi-

Soft hands gently caressing my cheeks and I see that Y/N's face looks closer as she holds my face in her hands.

Kazuhiko: Y/N...

Y/N: I'm not mad that you hugged me... I was just... surprised... so...

Y/N stares at me looking so worried.

Y/N : Please don't hurt yourself like this okay?

Dear lord thank you...

I lean my head and rest it on her shoulder, wrapping my arms around her again.

Kazuhiko: so... this much is fine, right?

I can feel she nods and then, her hands finally rested on my back as she clutched the back of my jacket.

Y/N: yes... I, like it...

Gosh.... Thanks Tamahiko for getting lost thy day...

Thank you Godzilla guy

Kazuhiko: I love you....

Y/N: I love you too... Kazuhiko...

Now, I shouldn't be worried about another guy, though she will see Takao and talk to him, I believe in Y/N.

Afterall....

She chooses me...

I'm her new start...

And her love will end with mine...

I'll make sure that I will never hurt her...

So I won't have to lose her...
